The textile and garment industry in South and Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, is dynamic and emerging as a major global supplier of textiles and garments.
These leading manufacturers are investing in new technologies to expand their business. CEMATEX is the owner of ITMA, the world’s largest textile and garment technology exhibition. ITMA, the Olympics of textile machinery exhibitions, has been held every 4 years in various European locations since 1951. Its latest exhibition in Milan, ITMA 2023 grossed 200,000 square metres. The showcase attracted 1,709 exhibitors from 47 countries.
CEMATEX launched its ITMA ASIA show in 2001, followed by a second show, supported by the Japan Textile Machinery Association in 2005. Both editions were held in Singapore.
