Vardhman Textiles is set to expand its operations with a significant capacity increase. The company’s board has greenlit a Rs 350 crore investment to boost the processed fabric capacity of its Vardhman Fabrics unit in Budhni, Madhya Pradesh, by 31 million meters per annum.
Currently, the unit boasts of a 175 million meter per annum capacity, operating at 90 per cent utilization rate. The additional capacity is expected to be financed through internal accruals or debt. This strategic move aligns with Vardhman Textiles’ vision to capitalize on the growing demand for processed fabrics in both domestic and international markets.

The company recently reported robust financial performance for the second quarter of FY25, with a 46.57 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 196.85 crore on a 4.38 per cent increase in net sales to Rs 2,502.42 crore compared to the same period last year.
